The Port Washington Soccer Club will be conducting open tryouts for rising U-10 teams ( current 3rd graders) on Tuesday May 15 and Friday May 18th at the Harbor Links field #3. On Tuesday May 15, the boys will tryout from 4-5:30 and the girls will tryout from 5:30-7.  On Friday May 18, the boys will try out from 5:30-7 and the girls will try out from 4-5:30.  May 22nd will be the rain date if one of the regularly scheduled tryouts is cancelled due to weather.
 
Participants must be born between 8/1/2002-12/31/2003 to qualify for U-10 travel teams.  Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early to register for the tryout.
 
Players selected for U-10 travel teams will play in the LIJSL and participate in LI Cup and State Cup competitions during the course of the fall and spring seasons.

]]> http://www.pwsoccer.com/home/582759.html 5 Star Soccer Hired for Pre-Travel Intramural Training 03/03/2009 10:14 AM http://www.pwsoccer.com/home/310579.html The Port Washington Soccer Club is pleased to announce that it had hired 5 Star Soccer Academy to run its Pre-Travel Training program.  Developed in 2002, the Pre-Travel Training program was designed to prepare third graders for the challenges and rigors of U-10 soccer in the Long Island Junior Soccer League.  The program encompasses two mid-week training sessions (Tuesdays and Fridays) as well as games on Saturday mornings, with junior referees.  5 Star Soccer Academy personnel Mykel Butler and Craig Canavan are managing the program.
